As a neurodivergent business owner and creative, I have found that AI can help me be more effective with my projects and produce higher quality and higher performing marketing products. Autistic Professional Accommodations
Content Creation
Due to my autism, I personally have difficulties coming up with call to actions that are catchy and unique. My black and white thinking often causes me to suffer from writers block. Using AI in content creation is a great accommodation. Using built in AI tools in software like wix.com or MailChimp, aids me to overcome my writer's block. By inserting the message I am trying to share, AI provides me with options that are more creative then "Come to our event!". After choosing AI generated content, I can then use my personal expertise to refine the content to be a perfect fit for my project and in a personalized voice that matches the brand. This approach saves me time, allowing me to have shorter project timelines. Since I only work part-time, time-saving actions allow me to complete more work in my limited hours. Using AI to aid in content creation also aids me to spend more time on the design and graphics, which is my area of expertise.
Imagery
Another struggle I encounter is having difficulties translating the image in my head to "paper". Using AI image generation, I can create a base outline of my vision to use as an initial template to build my work on top of. While my work starts off based on AI generated material, the final product is 100% personalized to the project and does not contain elements from the original AI image. AI image generation is a tool for me to help visualize my ideas and how to manage proportions.

As a small business owner and a team of 1, I have to fulfill many different roles. AI provides me with effective aid to improve the quality of work in areas that are not my expertise. AI tools offer me the opportunity to focus on what I do best while delegating tasks that are outside of my expertise to intelligent systems. By integrating AI into my business processes, I am not only improving the quality of my work but also unlocking new opportunities for growth and innovation.
